Colombian race fans wait at the end of stage 6 for their hero (who was 2nd overall at that time), Juan Mauricio Soler. Unfortunately, they soon learned that Soler would not be arriving because of a terrible crash mid-stage--leaving him with a fractured skull and broken leg.
