Day 2 - Near Lenzerheide, flat valley in 3,500 feet climbing. - The author's friend and guide, Horst Hammerschmidt, pedals along an alpine valley in (XXXXX) during day two of their 10-day, 525-mile horseshoe-shaped loop over the country's highest passes. At the top of each climb, the duo rewarded themselves with a scrumptious dessert and dubbed the trip, "sweet passes."
